We collaborate with our friends at Canine Academy to offer Obedience and Canine Sports. Classes take place weekly at the Canine Academy facility, located at 10463 Guelph Line, Campbellville, ON.

Obedience
Level 1 Obedience
The Level 1 Obedience course is designed to help your dog become a well-mannered canine companion both in and outside of the home. We achieve this by teaching basic obedience, manners and skills to you and your dog. Level 1 Obedience has 8 classes, including an intro talk, that take place weekly at the Canine Academy training facility.
Goals upon completion of Level 1 Obedience are:
- To greet people and dogs appropriately.
- Come when called under various distractions.
- Loose leash walking.
- To focus under distraction.
- To ignore objects upon command.
- Maintain a stay in the sit and down position.

Level 2 and Level 3 Obedience
Level 2 and Level 3 Obedience build on the foundation work from the Level 1 course to an intermediate and advanced level. Each course has 6 classes that take place weekly at the Canine Academy training facility.
These skills include:
- A further understanding of hand signals.
- Better communication and focus between dog and owner.
- Distance recalls with finishes under greater distractions.
- Loose leash walking and formal heeling.
- An introduction to canine dog sports (fun agility).
- Sphinx drop.
- Ignoring objects upon command, off leash.

Canine Sports
Agility
Agility is a great way to physically and mentally exercise yourself and your dog. Our classes are designed to teach the sport of agility in a fun and enjoyable environment for you and your dog. Each course has six 1-hour classes that take place weekly at the Canine Academy training facility.

Sport of Scent Detection
Sporting detection is the fun version of scent detection. It allows your dog to use their natural ability to discriminate odours in the environment. Each course has six 1-hour classes that take place weekly at the Canine Academy training facility.

Rally Obedience
Rally obedience is a new sport which combines aspects of obedience and agility. Owners and dogs perform obedience skills set out on a mapped course. Each course has six 1-hour classes that take place weekly at the Canine Academy training facility.

Mixed Skills
The Mixed Skills course lets you try three different canine sports, so you can decide which is the best fit for you and your dog. The course consists of two weeks of Agility, two weeks of Rally Obedience, and two weeks of Scent Detection. Each course has six 1-hour classes that take place weekly at the Canine Academy training facility.
